In 1991 this elite company of assassins was founded in the realm of the original Neverwinter Nights (oNWN) on America Online (AOL) by Beelzebub, the discoverer and ardent proponent of Player versus Player
(PvP) combat. Innovators from the start, the GOC was the first guild formed in oNWN and became the model for all guilds to follow.
The purpose of the GOC is the promotion of Chaos and/or Evil wherever, whenever, and however we see fit. The
GOC is intent on thwarting any creature, person, group or deity intent on eliminating Evil or establishing Law. We work to undermine and corrupt the work of our rivals by sowing havoc, doubt, dissension, fear, and death among our foes. It should be no surprise that PvP combat is our favored means to this end.
